چکیده

Fishing net is considered as one of the biggest problem in world owing to release micro-plastics from abandoned fishing nets, which contributes marine pollution. Although disposal and recycling strategies are effective methods for overcoming these problems, pyrolysis waste has emerged a strategy recover massive quantities materials. In this study, develop an method valorize net, effect use CaCO3 catalyst after loading (i.e., in-situ ex-situ) on pyrolytic products was investigated using micro-gas chromatography gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. Compared non-catalytic pyrolysis, catalytic increased yield non-condensable condensable gas. Particularly, ex-situ significantly up 37.2 wt.% at 900. method, 82 wt.%. The understanding difference between different configurations will provide useful insight thermocatalytic conversion processes.

Fabrication of Ti3SiC‌‌2-SiC max phase composites via in-situ and ex-situ synthesis

Recently, a series of three-component compounds with the combination of Mn+1AXn known as Max phases have been considered as a new material. One of the most important features of Max phases, is the self-healing property of them. The main reason for considering Max Phases is a unique collection of unusual properties including their metallic, ceramic, physical, and mechanical properties. One of th...

Insights into hydrophobic molecule release from polyelectrolyte multilayer films using in situ and ex situ techniques.

We report on the loading and release of curcumin (a hydrophobic polyphenol with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties) from polyelectrolyte multilayers composed of poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDADMAC) and poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS). We have used the in situ techniques of attenuated total reflectance (ATR) FTIR spectroscopy and quartz crystal microbalance with di...

Integrating Ex situ and In situ Conservation of Lemurs

Site-based and cross-regional habitat and species conservation e!orts in Madagascar, such as proposed in the previous chapters of this Lemur Conservation Strategy, should always be the main focus of lemur conservation. However, with many wild lemur populations rapidly declining and their habitat being lost at constantly high rates, captive assurance colonies are becoming increasingly important,...

Atom-economic catalytic amide synthesis from amines and carboxylic acids activated in situ with acetylenes

Amide bond-forming reactions are of tremendous significance in synthetic chemistry. Methodological research has, in the past, focused on efficiency and selectivity, and these have reached impressive levels. However, the unacceptable amounts of waste produced have led the ACS GCI Roundtable to label 'amide bond formation avoiding poor atom economy' as the most pressing target for sustainable syn...

Catalytic Microwave Pyrolysis of Douglas Fir Pellets with Carbon Catalysts Derived from Corn Stover

This study investigated catalytic microwave pyrolysis of Douglas fir sawdust pellets using carbon catalysts produced from corn stover. The effects of catalyst to biomass ratio on the bio-oil, syngas, and biochar yields were determined. Functional groups (carbonyls, phenolics, lactones, carboxyls) of carbon catalysts and GC/MS analysis were used to study the catalytic pyrolysis of Douglas fir sa...
